Rev’ those engines and gear up for an exciting morning welcoming in holiday cheer to the sick and injured children at Golisano Children’s Hospital. This high energy event combines the thrill of automotive excellence with the spirit of giving back. Mark your calendars for the 8th Annual Porsche & Friends Parade, where car PCA enthusiasts and friends  come together to support a fantastic cause: building the new Golisano Pediatric Surgery Center!

A Legacy of Giving

The Porsche & Friends Parade has become a true highlight of the holiday season at Golisano Children’s Hospital welcoming in Santa and his elves who repel from the rooftop of the hospital. The parade of Porsches and exotics is a thrill for patients, their families, hospital staff and car lovers from all around SWFL. Drivers from the Porsche Club of America – Everglades Region showcase their artwork while raising crucial funds to change the future of pediatric healthcare for all children in the community.

The annual Porsche & Friends Parade has successfully raised more than $1.3 million dollars and in 2023 alone, the parade raised $300,000 to kick off fundraising for a new state-of-the-art outpatient pediatric surgery center. This new center will be able to perform approximately 80% of the current surgeries that are done inpatient. This will help all children get the surgeries they need promptly. Right now non-critical procedures have a six to either week waitlist or more.

There is no cost to attend but registration is required for the Lee County Sheriff escort. We ask all participants to bring a new unwrapped toy for the children in the hospital. Car owners and guests can participate in an energetic fast-paced fund a need to raise resources.

This year, proceeds from the Porsche & Friends Parade will be dedicated to supporting the construction of the Golisano Pediatric Surgery Center, a state-of-the-art facility designed to provide specialized surgical care to children in need. This center aims to enhance pediatric healthcare in our region, ensuring that young patients receive the highest level of medical attention.
