What: Rolex 24 at Daytona

When: Saturday, January 28, 2023 to Sunday, January 29, 2023

IMSA kicks off the 2023 Weathertech Sportscar Championship at historic Daytona International Speedway in January. 

If you are a regular fan or never attended an endurance sports car race, this is one you want to see. Porsche is unveiling not one, but two new race cars. 

The awesome 4.2 liter GT3R will compete in the hotly contested GT Class. 

The prototype GTP Class will feature new hybrid cars from Acura, BMW, Cadillac and Porsche. 

A pair of beautiful new Porsche 963’s, powered by a twin turbo, 4.6 liter V8, will be fielded by Penske Motorsport.

The Porsche Corral located in the infield is already sold out, but is a great place to hang out, meet PCA members from all over the country and watch the race.

What: Cars & Coffee

When: February 4, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. — 10:30 a.m.

The Everglades Region will co-host Cars & Coffee at Porsche Fort Myers on Saturday, December 3. All Porsche and exotic car owners are welcome. Donuts and coffee will be served.

What: Autocross in Venice

When: February 11, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m.

Where: Venice Airport Festival Grounds, 610 Airport Ave E, Venice, FL 34285

We are excited to announce our first autocross of the new year at Venice Airport Festival Grounds on Saturday, February 11th. This event will follow a test and tune format and is open to all Everglades Region members. It’s also a good prep day for drivers going to the first National tour of the year in Georgia. Entry fee is $50 and open to the first 20 drivers to register. Payment is due at the time of registration. Gates open at 9:00am and the course is open for walking until 9:45. Drivers meeting at 9:45 and first cars on course around 10:00.

Autocross …. there’s no better, safer way to test your car control skills!

What: Revs Tour Private Tour

When: February 17, 2023 at 10:30 a.m.

Where: Revs Institute, 2500 Horseshoe Dr S, Naples, FL 34104

Join Everglades Region members and guests on Friday, February 17th for a private, docent lead tour of the Revs Institute in Naples. Revs is home to one of the worlds great collections of historic Porsche’s. First time visitors will be amazed by the cars and automotive history on display. Return visitors are sure to see and learn something new.

Arrive before 10:00am for check-in and 10:30am tour start. Cost is $35 per person.

What: Wheels & Espresso

When: February 26, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. — 10:30 a.m.

Where: Angelic Desserts, 2355 Vanderbilt Beach Rd, Naples, FL 34109

Join us at Angelic Desserts for Wheels & Espresso! The event will feature a Street Concours Show. Only the exterior of the car will be judged and all attendees will vote in two categories, 4 door cars and two door sports cars. Special gifts will be provided to the winners.

What: WEC and IMSA at Sebring

When: March 17, 2023 and March 18, 2023

Where: Sebring International Raceway, 113 Midway Dr, Sebring, FL 33870

The World Endurance Championship takes the track on Friday, March 17th for a 1,000 mile race. These are the same teams, cars and stars who will compete at the 24 Hours of LeMans in June. Save the airplane ticket and drive 100 miles north.

On Saturday, IMSA returns for the 71st running of the 12 Hours of Sebring. This historic race track is always a test for drivers and cars.

The new Porsche 963 will compete on both days, along with the new GT3R.
