2022 Pan-Florida Challenge Cancer Ride

March 26, 2022 @ 8:00 AM – March 27, 2022 @ 6:00 PM
Florida Gulf Coast University Buckingham Campus
5820 Buckingham Rd
Fort Myers
FL 33905

The Everglades Region invites members to volunteer in the Pan-Florida Challenge Cancer Ride as support drivers for it’s cyclists. The ride raises funds to support cancer prevention research at Moffitt Cancer Center, patients, and hungry children throughout Florida, as malnutrition is shown to increase the risk of cancer.

We’re looking to recruit Porsche drivers for Saturday, March 26 and four Porsche drivers for Sunday, March 27. All of the Saturday routes will start at the Florida Gulf Coast University Buckingham Campus. The 30-mile and 62-mile routes finish back at FGCU with five drivers required. The 100-mile route starts at FGCU and ends at The Pavilion on Little Lake Jackson in Sebring with four drivers required. On Sunday, the next 100-mile route starts in Sebring and ends at USF Riverfront Park, 6550 E Fletcher Ave, Tampa, FL 33617.

Drivers who finish in Sebring on Saturday or start in Sebring on Sunday will be offered complimentary dinner, breakfast, and overnight hotel accommodations.

If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact Rob Vigorito at 443-980-8433 or email vigorman@comcast.net.
