SUMMARY:Exciting News! Autocross Returns to Buckingham Airfield – January 18\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:After several years of not being able to secure our favorite site at Buckingham Airfield\, we finally have a date locked in for our first autocross event of 2026! Registration will open December 22nd on ClubRegistration.net. \nIf you’ve never autocrossed before\, this is the perfect opportunity to jump in at the best autocross site in Florida. We’ll have instructors available to guide first-timers and help you improve throughout the day—so don’t stay on the sidelines! \n \nEvent Day Schedule – January 18\, 2026 \n8:30 AM – Gates open (remain open until 9:00)\n8:30–9:30 AM – Check-in\, submit self-tech forms\, and sign waiver at the gate\n• Course open for walking during this time\n9:15 AM – Novice course walk (mandatory for all first-timers)\n9:45 AM – Driver’s meeting (mandatory for everyone on site—even non-drivers)\n10:00 AM – First car out\n~3:00 PM – Clean-up and departure \nRequirements & Important Notes \n\nWork Assignments: Every driver must work one run session. Failure to report for your assignment will result in disqualification and exclusion from future events. If you have a physical disability preventing on-course work\, notify an event official for an alternate assignment.\nHelmets: SNELL 2010 or newer automotive helmets required. (Motorcycle helmets are not permitted.)\nWeather: We run rain or shine. Lightning will cause temporary course stoppage.\nWhat to Bring: Water\, sunscreen\, snacks/food\, a chair\, and weather-appropriate clothing.
