Porsches, Drivers, Navigators and Diets All Tested at Everglades Region – Culinary Rally
Porsches, Drivers, Navigators and Diets were all put to the test at Everglades Region recently held Culinary Rally
Over 27 cars and 54 participants, explored the back roads of Lee, Hendry and Glades counties, traveling over 150 miles.
The rally started with brunch at Momentum Brewhouse in Bonita Springs, with delicious offerings from H-Anger Management food truck. After the rally briefing, cars set off in drive groups for the first leg of the event. Destination …. Clewiston on the edge of Lake Okeechobee.
The historic Clewiston Inn provided an excellent spot to stretch legs, explore the Inn and re-hydrate.
Then it was back in the cars for the final leg, finishing at Rosy Tomorrows Heritage Farm in North Fort Myers. On arrival, cars were greeted by wondering flocks of turkeys and of course, Sandy the farm dog. At the farm, Executive Chef Richard Howze offered a selection of their fabulous farm-to-table cuisine. The open air, screened restaurant provided a perfect finish to the day, offering everyone a chance to relax and socialize.
Special thanks to Brian at Momentum Brewhouse, Shannon & Travis at H-Anger Management food truck, Jackie at the Clewiston Inn and the entire staff at Rosy Tomorrows Heritage Farm.
Next up …… Rally Of The Everglades coming in the spring !
