3rd Annual Porsche Parade of Presents Raises $110,000 for the The Golisano Children’s Hospital of Florida
The 3rd Annual Porsche Parade of Presents took place on December 14th. 132 Porsches and Exotic cars led my Lee County Sheriffs Dept and Iona McGregor Fire Dept did not let a little rain and clouds dampen their passion to assist the children and their parents. Santa, Mrs. Claus, Elves and the Grinch along with 230 Porshcephiles delivered holiday gifts to the children who are being treated at Golisano and can not leave the hospital. In 10 minutes $110,000 was raised for the Little Red Wagon Fund to support the children as well. The event was organized by Everglades Board members Valerie and JP Petracco. “It’s an emotional morning visiting the children, but we are so blessed to have members and friends who have embraced and supported this event said Valerie.”
This year JP helped coordinate with most of the other regions in Zone 12 of PCA, their own Porsche Parade of Presents, so on the same day each region could replicate Delivery of presents to their own local children’s hospital. On December 14th, Porsche owned the State of Florida delivering gifts to almost every children’s hospital in FL.
