Everglades AX

May 3, 2014 @ 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM
9:30am at Porsche of Fort Myers

If you’ve ever wanted to drive your Porsche the way it was meant to be driven but were unsure how to get started, here’s your chance. We will be hosting a “Taste of Autocross” novice school held in conjunction with Gulfcoast Autocrossers’ Test and Tune day on Saturday, May 3rd.
The day will begin at 9:30am at Porsche of Fort Myers where we enjoy brunch and have a tech session where you will receive an introduction to Autocross and have your car “teched” to make sure it is ready and fit for the day of spirited driving. We will finish with a Q&A session and then leave together for Buckingham Airfield in Ft Myers.
On arrival at Buckingham, we will complete registration and get organized to “start our engines”. We will walk the course and then break up into two groups (one will drive and the other will be “working the course”) we will switch every five runs (expect ten or more runs for the day). Instructors will ride with you and coach you all the way. Your instructor will also take you for a run or two in your car as well as in their own car’s to help further your learning. The day will end by 3pm.
Cost is $35 per driver for the day payable in advance of the event. Deadline for enrollment is April 25, 2014. Please send a check payable to “PCA Everglades Region” and mailed to
